Reclaimed beams from industrial transport. Untreated and heavily distressed — deep gouging, strap marks, checking, and weathering across every face.
$8 per board foot, which makes these the least expensive hardwood beams in the yard. Sizes from 5in × 6in up to 10in × 7.5in, all in 8 to 18 foot lengths.
The most texture per dollar we sell
If you want a clean, tidy beam, buy the 1911 fir instead. These are for people who want the beat-up industrial look and want a lot of it cheap. Beautifully textured shelving and mantels come out of this material.
Red vs. white oak
White oak has closed pores and handles moisture better — it is the pick for anything near water. Red oak is more open-grained and runs slightly pink. Both are on the rack and both are $8.
Limited supply
We do not get these consistently. Call 720-236-0454 before you come.
FIG. 008.QQuestions
Red & White Oak Beams — common questions
How much do reclaimed oak beams cost in Denver?
Red and white oak beams at Revolve Reclaimed are $8 per board foot — the least expensive hardwood beam in our yard. Sizes run 5 to 10 inches square in 8 to 18 foot lengths.
What does "heavily distressed" mean?
These beams were used in industrial transport, so they carry deep gouging, strap marks, checking, and weathering. If you want a clean beam this is the wrong product. If you want texture, this is the most texture per dollar in the yard.
What is the difference between red oak and white oak?
White oak has closed pores, so it resists water and is the choice for anything that gets wet. Red oak is more open-grained and slightly pinker in tone. For shelving and mantels either works and we sell them at the same price.
